This statue of Leif Erickson is in Trondheim harbor (along with Ruby, cousin Ase, Mickey and Ken). The statue was given to the City of Trondheim by the City of Seattle in 1997 to celebrate Trondheim's 1000 year anniversary and the fact that Leif and his crew set off from Trondheim in 997 to discover America.
